The #1 goal for our products was that they had to be really good for your hair. Not filled with the chemical ingredients that many pomades use (just try to interpret those labels from other brands.) The other guys use less expensive (i.e. crummy) chemicals as their ingredients. You don’t want to put chemicals in your hair, well if you care anything about your hair and health.

So, because it was also important to protect our hair and scalp, we added Saw Palmetto fruit extract to our entire product line, which is a well known and researched natural extract that protects your hair from DHT (Dihydrotestosterone.) You know DHT. It’s that nasty body producing hormone that is a contributor toward men’s hair loss.

The Cleveland Clinic describes it like this: “Increased DHT activity at your hair follicles is partly responsible for this hair loss…High levels of DHT can shrink your hair follicles and shorten the hair growth cycle, resulting in hair loss.” So, there’s no guarantee, of course, that you won’t still lose your hair if you use our products, but why not give your hair the best fighting chance you can?

These are all water based products that wash out easily. Our pomades also leave no residue in your hair. Scent is super important to us as well. We love clean, fresh smells. And, our line has a great fresh scent – If you’ve ever smelled Creed Green Irish Tweed, you’ll find our scent very familiar.
